Hot Sex!
Did you know that...
- ...many of your fellow students who use the Lab, especially women,
are made to feel very uncomfortable when they have to work in a room with
explicit nude or pornographic images prominently displayed on computer screens?
- ...a prospective employer who visits your Web home page and is
immediately presented with your favorite explicit sexual images is not likely
to take you as seriously as a candidate for employment?
- ...the campus has a policy expressing the view that pornographic
images may not be displayed on computer screens in public campus facilities
including, but not limited to: labs, classrooms, sinc sites, meeting rooms,
etc. The U.S. courts have determined that the public display of such
images do constitute an offensive and harassing environment?
- ...in the U.S. courts, sexual harassment cases now carry punitive
damages of up to $300,000 which can be assessed against the harasser,
the institution, and the middle management who should have been preventing
the harassment?
Please be considerate of your fellow students using the Lab and avoid
displaying nude or pornographic images in such a way that others are
forced to view them against their will. Thanks!
